During her undergraduate career, Sarah was a member of the Pre-Optometry Club, Global Medical and Dental Brigades, and the Honor Code Council. She was a Montgomery Leadership Program Fellow and the President of the Mortar Board Honor Society. Sarah was on the President's and Dean's lists and was a recipient of the Spirit of State Award.
After graduating in May 2019, Sarah began optometry school at the Southern College of Optometry.
Sarah said of her time with SI, "I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the SI program. It is by far one of my greatest experiences and accomplishments. I am excited to see what all the SI program accomplishes in years to come!"
