What do you enjoy most about being at MSU?
I enjoy being a part of the MSU community. With SI, I am involved in the Brickfire Program, which allows me to serve underprivileged youths in the Starkville area. Being at MSU means that you care about the community and the community cares about you. It is a very positive community that I am happy to be a part of.
What is the most important advice that you would give students?
The most important advice I would give is to be willing to save time for yourself. Set some time aside from studying to do things that you enjoy. College is very stressful and has a lot of time consumed by studying, but setting aside some time to hang out with friends is a very good way to stop burnout.
Why Should students go to SI?
Students should go to SI because it is a great resource to do well in difficult classes. I have struggled in difficult classes and going to SI has helped me to succeed and even more so, excel. SI is also a great way to meet other people in similar classes and majors. Having friends with similar majors is a good way to form study groups and find other people to propel yourself forward.
What are some of your hobbies/interests?
Some of my hobbies include pickleball, tennis, reading, and hanging out with friends. I really enjoy being active and doing things to help take my mind off stressful situations within school.
